Dua for Niyyah (Umrah)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ العُمْرَةَ فَيَسِّرْهَا لِي وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي

Allāhumma innī urīdu al-'umrata fayassirhā lī wataqabbalhā minnī

"O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me."

Dua for Niyat - Hajj

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الحَجَّ فَيَسِّرْهُ لِي وَتَقَبَّلْهُ مِنِّي

Allāhumma innī urīdu al-ḥajja fayasirhu lī wataqabbalhu minni.

"O Allah, I intend to perform Hajj, so make it easy for me and accept it from me."

Dua Before Leaving Home

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

Bismillāhi, tawakkaltu 'alā Allāhi, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāhi.

"In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power nor might except with Allah."

Dua for traveling / Riding a Vehicle

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ

Subhāna alladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā wa mā kunnā lahu muqrinīn, wa innā ilā rabbinā lamunqalibūn

"Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we would not have been able to do so on our own, and to our Lord, we shall surely return."

Talbiyah - The Call

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْك، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْك، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْك، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

Labbayka Allāhumma labbayk, labbayka lā sharīka laka labbayk, inna al-ḥamda wa-n- ni'mata laka wa-l-mulk, lā sharīka lak.

"Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Indeed, all praise, grace, and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner."

Dua for Entering Masjid Al Haram

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Allāhumma iftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatika.

"O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy."

Dua for First Sight of Kaaba

اللَّهُمَّ زِدْ هَذَا البَيْتَ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَمَهَابَةً، وَزِدْ مَنْ شَرَّفَهُ وَكَرَّمَهُ مِمَّنْ حَجَّهُ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَهُ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَبِرًّا

Allāhumma zid hādhā al-bayta tashrīfan wa ta'ẓīman wa takrīman wa mahābatan, wa zid man sharrafahu wa karramahu mimman ḥajjahu awi 'tamarahu tashrīfan wa ta'ẓīman wa takrīman wa birran.

" O Allah, increase this House in honor, reverence, nobility, and awe. And increase in honor, reverence, nobility, and righteousness those who honor it and perform Hajj or ‘Umrah at it."

Dua for Patience

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Rabbanaa afrigh 'alaynaa sabran wa tawaffanaa muslimīn

"Our Lord, pour upon us patience, make our steps firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people."

Dua for Starting Tawaaf

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ إِيمَانًا بِكَ، وَتَصْدِيقًا بِكِتَابِكَ، وَوَفَاءً بِعَهْدِكَ، وَاتِّبَاعًا لِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Bismillāhi wa-Allāhu akbar, Allāhumma īmānan bika, wa taṣdīqan bikitābik, wa wafā’an bi‘ahdik, wa ittibā‘an lisunnati nabiyyika Muḥammad ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

"In the name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, (I do this) out of faith in You, belief in Your Book, fulfillment of Your covenant, and following the Sunnah of Your Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ."

Dua Between Yemeni Corner & Hajr al-Aswad

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbana ātinā fi al-dunyā hasanatan wa fi al-ākhirati hasanatan waqinā 'adhāba al-nār

"Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

Dua at Maqaam Ibrahim

وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلَّى

Wattakhidhū min maqāmi Ibrāhīma muṣallā.

"And take the standing place of Ibrahim (AS) as a place of prayer."

Dua for Drinking Zamzam Water

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا، وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ

Allāhumma innī as'aluka ‘ilman nāfi'an, wa rizqan wāsi'an, wa shifā'an min kulli dā'in.

"O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and healing from every disease."

Dua for Sa'i

إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَٱلْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَاۤئِرِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ فَمَنْ حَجَّ ٱلْبَيْتَ أَوِ ٱعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَاۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ

Innaṣ-Ṣafā wal-Marwata min sha'ā'iril-lāh. Faman ḥajja al-bayta awi'tamara fa lā junāḥa 'alayhi an yaṭṭawwafa bihimā. Wa man taṭawwa'a khayran fa inna Allāha shākirun 'alīm.

"Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah – there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good – then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing"

Dua for Entering Mina

اللَّهُمَّ هَذِهِ مِنًى فَأَنْعِمْ عَلَيَّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَى أَوْلِيَائِكَ

Allāhumma hādhihi Minā fa-an'im 'alayya bimā an'amta 'alā awliyā'ika.

"O Allah, this is Mina; so bless me with what You have blessed Your closest friends with."

Dua for Arafah Day

لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ أَبَدًا أَبَدًا ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Lā ilāha illā Allāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu,lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamdu, yuḥyī wa yumītu, wa huwa ḥayyun lā yamūtu abadan abadā, dhū al-jalāli wa-al-ikrām, biyadihi al-khayr, wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr.

" There is no god except Allah,alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is ever-living and does not die, forever and ever. He is the Possessor of Glory and Honor. In His hand is all goodness, and He has power over all things."

Dua for Muzdalifah

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ

Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-khayra kullahu wa a‘ūdhu bika mina ash- sharri kullihi.

"O Allah, I ask You for all that is good and seek refuge in You from all that is evil."

Dua for Rami Al Jamarat

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ حَجًّا مَبْرُورًا وَذَنْبًا مَغْفُورًا وَسَعْيًا مَشْكُورًا

Allāhumma aj'alhu ḥajjan mabrūran wa dhanban maghfūran wa sa'yan mashkūran.

" O Allah, make it a Hajj that is accepted, a sin that is forgiven, and an effort that is appreciated."

Dua for Sacrifice (Qurbani)

اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَ مِنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

Allāhumma taqabbal minnī kamā taqabbalta min Ibrāhīm.

"O Allah, accept from me just as You accepted from Your beloved Ibrahim (AS)."

Dua for Tahallul (Shaving/Trimming)

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي نُسُكِي

Allāhumma aghfir lī dhunūbī wa taqabbal minnī nusukī.

"O Allah, forgive my sins and accept my sacrifice."

Tawaf al-Wada (Farewell Tawaf)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ

Allāhumma innī as'aluka al-'afwa wa al-'āfiyata fi al-dunyā wa al-ākhirah.

"O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter."

Dua for leaving Makkah

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ بِبَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ

Allāhumma lā taj'alhu ākhira al-'ahdi bibaytika al-ḥarām

"O Allah, do not make this my last visit to Your Sacred House."

Madinah - Giving Salaam to the Prophet ﷺ

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيبَ اللَّهِ

As-salāmu 'alayka, as-salāmu 'alayka yā ḥabība Allāhi, yā rasūla Allāhi, as-salāmu 'alayka yā nabiyya Allāhi.

"Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah. Peace be upon you, O Beloved of Allah."

Dua for Visiting the Rawdah

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي زِيَارَةَ هَذَا الْمَكَانِ الْمُبَارَكِ مِرَارًا، وَارْزُقْنِي الْجَنَّةَ فِي جِوَارِ نَبِيِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ

Allāhumma urzuqnī ziyārata hādhā al-makāni al-mubāraki mirāran, wa urzuqnī al-jannata fī jiwāri nabiyyika al-karīm.

"O Allah, grant me the opportunity to visit this blessed place repeatedly, and grant me Paradise in the company of Your noble Prophet.ﷺ"

Giving Salaam to Abu Bakr As-Siddiq RA & Umar bin Khattab RA

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْكُمَا وَجَزَاكُمَا عَنِ ٱلإِسْلَامِ خَيْرًا

As-salāmu 'alayka yā Abā Bakrin aṣ-Ṣiddīq, as-salāmu 'alayka yā 'Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, raḍiya Allāhu 'ankumā wa jazākumā 'ani al-Islāmi khayran.

"Peace be upon you, O Abu Bakr As-Siddiq. Peace be upon you, O Umar bin Khattab. May Allah be pleased with you both and reward you with the best on behalf of Islam."

Jannatul Baqi

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ، نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ

As-salāmu ‘alaykum ahla ad-diyāri mina al-mu’minīna wa al-muslimīn, wa innā in shā’a Allāhu bikum lāḥiqūn, nas’alu Allāha lanā wa lakumu al- ‘āfiyah.

"Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the dwellings from among the believers and Muslims. Indeed, we will join you soon, if Allah wills. We ask Allah for well-being for us and for you."

Farewell to Madinah

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ هَذَا آخِرَ عَهْدِي بِالْمَدِينَةِ، وَإِنْ جَعَلْتَهُ آخِرَ عَهْدِي فَارْزُقْنِي الجَنَّةَ

Allāhumma lā taj'al hādhā ākhira 'ahdī bil-Madīnah, wa in ja'altahu ākhira 'ahdī farzuqnī al-jannah.

"O Allah, do not make this my last farewell to Madinah. But if You decree it to be my last visit, then grant me Paradise."

Dua for Protection on the journey home

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا البِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى

Allāhumma innā nas'aluka fī safarinā hādhā al-birra wa at- taqwā wa mina al-'amali mā tarḍā.

"O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in this journey, and for deeds that are pleasing to You."

O Allah I ask You for all that is good, in this world and in the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah I seek refuge with You from all evil, in this world and in the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah I ask You for the good that Your slave and Prophet ﷺ has asked You for, and I seek refuge with You from the evil from which Your slave and Prophet ﷺ sought refuge. O Allah I ask You for Paradise and for that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed, and I seek refuge in You from Hell and from that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed. and I ask You to make every decree that You decree concerning me good.
